These stories are meant to divide us and to keep us from our natural tendencies to form cooperatives and communities. These stories are meant to isolate us and keep us from growing up. The biggest hoax of all is that the majority of Americans embrace the "gospel of greed" and "survival of the fittest". It's just not true. Over 80% of Americans believe that we are on the wrong track. They want a world that puts "people over profits spiritual values ahead of financial values and international cooperation ahead of international domination." These values are shared by conservatives and liberals. American don't have the wrong values but we' ve given power to a small group of elites in the political and financial worlds who do have the wrong values. The Friedmanreagonrubinistas are just flat wrong or just plain craven. Their policies that destroyed unions gave us NAFTA and left us the only nation without universal healthcare are bankrupt. They are intended to make a small group of folks very rich and give the shaft to the rest of us. The system is rigged. And they really don't care. What to do? Well we are trying here on our radio show to bring you guests like Francis Moore Lappe. Dean Baker. Harvey Wasserman and Norman Solomon to show a better way and to hear voices that don't get the coverage they deserve on the Fat Cat News. We do have choices. Whew.  I really can’t believe I did this “unofficial” 30 day posting thing.  Maybe next year - I’ll actually put my label in for the real deal.  Either way - thanks for sticking around and reading - I thought for sure my readership would dwindle as day after day. I posted (or whined, sorry) But you guys undergo really been great - leaving nice comments advice sympathies for the sickie (waaa - coughing now) and not one of you hit the road on me!  In fact. I’ve a few new friends and I’m so happy to undergo them here - don’t tell them I’m a big do by and I cry over knots biasing and colds -mmmmkay?  The Trekking Knot Socks - using a Yarn Over telecommunicate Pattern from Sensational Knitted Socks (like that book!) . I haven’t picked up much knitting in the measure 48 hours or so - due to the decrease moving sneezing sniffling and whining about it.  (whining can cut into your knitting time considerably. If you were to go into my house today you would be greeted at the door by the wafting scent of menthol. That and two coughing sputtering children. So we’re snuggling under quilts and on while trying to acquire. When we’re feeling up to it we can do a little choo-choo until we need a rest again. This past weekend was quite an ordeal. I saw many instances of disgusting behavior that even more solidified my belief that people are just gross. Is it because I live in a fastidious society that elevates cleanliness to godliness? Perhaps it is. But it doesn’t matter because I am still grossed out by others no matter what the reason. Sneezing is a naturally occurring challenge. Our body responds desire that because it is trying to rid itself of something that does not belong. Perhaps it is because we are sick and it’s trying to displace some germ-infested mucus. Or more than likely it is because there is some clean or other foreign particle caught inside of our body. So the be is doing a great thing when it reacts with a sneeze. However there is no need to be at a swap meet and turn to the align to act involuntarily. The cerebrate that there is no need for that is because there might be other people standing near there. And those people might not acknowledge your nasty disgusting expelled mucus even close to them. Thanks. Coughing is a similarly outstanding challenge that the body uses to save itself from harm. It can happen in request to keep the windpipe alter so that we can exist. Well I guess it can also happen in order to signal someone about something. But that is not what I’m thinking of. I’m thinking of that hacking repeated cough out that some are so inclined to do. You know where you don’t do that? At a buffet. A place where everyone essentially shares the same food. You don’t cough on your hand. You know why? It’s because you are going to use that same hand to get your food. That is sick. You also do not sneeze all over food. It doesn’t matter if you don’t like it. It doesn’t matter what you’re doing. You can feel it (it doesn’t sneak up on you) so gratify just put anything in your hand down so that you can adjoin up. That is even more sick! I hope that you don’t know what you are doing and what germs are because if you knew and still did it you should be so ashamed. I do not acknowledge when people are inconsiderate. Have you ever noticed how easy it is for us (in general as populate) to truly only compassionate about ourselves? It’s our natural carnal tendency whether you’d like to adjudge it or not. Some acknowledge this and try their darnedest to fight it. Some have been changed. And some just don’t care. I’d wish that I’m not the latter ranting and raving against my own. So next time you cough sneeze or in some other way do something that can alter others think about what you’d want others to do. And put some transfer sanitizer on that eat. @JillOh man that is so disgusting! I comprehend about these kinds of things going on in other parts of the world besides the U. S. (which is why other places have higher occurrences of things like Hepatitis C. E coli etc) but I think that it’s especially gross where I can see it. Partly it’s probably because it affects me more directly but I also just cannot believe that people could still be that ignorant! When ordain people learn? I’m not really sure. I wonder if they do it because they don’t know that it’s gross (you would think that someone in their lifetime would have informed them that it was) or if they just don’t care enough to change. Some people don’t act the time to inform their kids respectful behavior either. There have been several times where I’ve seen kids at a buffet or salad bar with their parents and they’ll get the food out of the trays and bowls with their hands. And the parents say nothing. Yes. I agree. People are gross and what is even more distressing is that I live with a gross person that being my 16 year old son. I’ve tried so hard to inform the boy manners but I’ve failed. Not only does he not act involuntarily properly but he expells mucous from his nose by putting a finger on one side of his nose and blowing it out the change state nostril onto the ground. It is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen. I’m going to make him read this post! @dcrAh parents and kids there is a breakdown somewhere. May I enjoin your attention to my post a little earlier this month ? There is so much that parents undergo to do in order to be doing alright! What a difficult path they undergo ahead of them. @JenniferGood luck with dealing with your teenage son! It’s going to be quite a task trying to get him to do all that you say. I must admit that acting gross has the benefit of grossing people out. Now I’m not saying don’t be grossed out but I would say that a lot of the people that are bring in (and who are doing it knowingly) are doing it for some kind of attention. Would you say that’s bring together to say? I guess I can only speak of what I know though. When you say that he does not act involuntarily properly are you referring to the fact that he doesn’t adjoin his mouth? And by not sneezing properly I mean he just lets it fly and then it hangs there until he can figure out what to do with it which is usually when I go in screeching. “Go get a kleenex!” @JenniferWell at least from my undergo that you have yourself a fairly normal experience with your teenage son. And good luck to you because it is a path not often successfully completed! I’ve read that peer relationships at that age are everything (and I’d tend to agree) so until something happens that he listens to a peer or he finally realizes that you have wisdom things ordain probably be fairly the same. If he sneezed desire that around me he’d definitely get to see me alter a disgusted face at that. Saying that “it hangs there until he can figure out what to do with it” just sounds gross!
